Yes, our jerky treats are recommended for dogs with yeast problems because they are pure protein with added nutrients.
How do I keep my DOGSWELL® and/or CATSWELL® treats fresh?
Our resealable bags are designed to lock in freshness and keep air out. Once opened, our jerky treats are best within a 12 month period. VEGGIE LIFE® treats are best consumed within one to two months of opening the bag, as these vegetable/fruit treats are not preserved with artificial preservatives. To retain freshness and prolong shelf life, you may try removing all of the air inside the bag, tightly sealing it and putting it in the refrigerator.

I am a customer and I want to purchase your products. Can you tell me where I can find them near me?
What is in the deoxidizer? Is it harmful to my pet?
The deoxidizer contains iron, active carbon, salt and water. Because it is not intended for consumption, if your dog or cat does accidentally swallow the deoxidizer, it is advised that you monitor your pet's behavior for 48 hours and consult your veterinarian if needed. You might notice that your pet is thirstier than normal. This is ok, as your pet just had a salty treat, although this “treat” is not as tasty as the meatier ones in the package.

How do you prevent salmonella from contaminating your jerky products? The DOGSWELL® facility is specifically designed to prevent any cross contamination. Salmonella is one of the easiest contaminants to prevent. Salmonella is killed after 23 seconds at 160 degrees. DOGSWELL® cooks all of our poultry jerky products at 160 degrees for ten hours. While some manufacturers choose a quicker “flash cooking process” to irradiate their products, DOGSWELL® has chosen the slow-cooking method to provide a clean, safe treat.
How do DOGSWELL® and CATSWELL® guarantee the safety of their jerky treats?
(A) DOGSWELL® facilities are designed to prevent cross-contamination. They meet the highest and most strict sanitary conditions to ensure raw meat and raw juices or contaminants do not come into contact with cooked meat at any time during the cooking or packaging process, thus, eliminating the possibility of any type of salmonella infection.
(B) All DOGSWELL® and CATSWELL® products DO NOT contain ANY wheat, wheat gluten or corn. The only thing DOGSWELL® adds to the natural meat treats are vitamins and supplements. All jerky treats contain NO added hormones, NO antibiotics, NO byproducts, NO corn, NO flour, NO wheat, NO added salt, NO added sugar, NO artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, and NO BHA, BHT or Ethoxyquin.

Do DOGSWELL® products contain peanuts? Are they produced in facilities that contain peanuts or peanut products?
All DOGSWELL® and CATSWELL® products are not made with peanuts or any peanut products. DOGSWELL® dry and canned food facilities do not have any peanuts or peanut products within them. Although DOGSWELL® biscuits and jerky treats do not contain any peanuts or peanut products, they are processed in facilities where peanut products are present. NO, our VEGGIE LIFE® treats contain absolutely NO Pesticides.
What is the Cage-Free Difference?
