Job Summary:
The Key Account Manager services pet specialty key retailers who purchase products directly from DOGSWELL® in order to grow market share and endorsement. He/she also works with pet distributor partners in order to maximize throughput of DOGSWELL® products to multi-door key pet retailers with centralized buying offices who buy directly from pet distributors. The Key Account Manager reports to the Director of Sales.
Main Tasks:
• Develops and manages account plans with the Director of Sales
• Exceeds revenue goals for direct pet accounts
• Increases market share to key retailers with central buying offices who purchase from our distributor partners
• Makes primary sales calls and executes follow up with internal sales reps, brokers, and distributor teams
• Maximizes DOGSWELL® in-store presence
• Expands SKUs
• Closes distribution gaps
• Sells in all new product launches
• Develops and Executes customer promotions
• Negotiates favorable trade terms
• Secures POS and Distributor data
• Expert on all DOGSWELL® products
• Conducts store visits to execute sales, implement promotions , improve merchandising and shelf placement and gather feedback
• Coordinates training for store personnel
• Represents DOGSWELL® at regional consumer events
• Manages account and personal expenses within budgeted guidelines.
Ideal candidate is/has:
• BS/BA degree
• Minimum 3 yrs experience retail customer management
• Self starter, results oriented, team player, problem solver, positive attitude
• Up to 50% travel
• Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent follow-up skills
Compensation:
Depending on experience (DOE), 20% bonus potential

Accounts Receivable Coordinator
• Position Summary:
Quickly growing natural products company on the Westside seeks an position is responsible for processing customer payments, processing and researching deductions taken by customers as credit memos, billbacks and/or chargebacks, collecting past due receivables and other AR tasks. He/she reports directly to the Controller
Position Responsibilities:
• Process deposits and entering payments into Quickbooks
• Resolve A/R account issues with customers, follow up on payment discrepancies, prepare and send customer credit memos and monthly statements
• Review and ensure all monies deducted from payments to the firm such as Manufacturer Charge Backs (MCB), billbacks, slotting, demos, advertising, etc. are correct as per the agreed upon promotion
• Research, validate and code deductions for appropriate manager approval
• Obtain a working knowledge of our sales process, customer’s policies & procedures, and promotional programs
• Interact with Sales, Trade Marketing and Operations departments, along with direct customer contact, to obtain necessary paperwork to verify customer deductions and process customer chargebacks
• Establish relationships with appropriate customer and broker contacts to learn customer deduction process and coding systems.
• Prepare period end accruals for all outstanding promotional activity as appropriate.
• Verify data and obtain backup paperwork for verifying deductions, including obtaining Proof of Delivery support (PODs).
• Maintain and update promotional expenditures tracker in Excel
• Make weekly collection calls for past due receivables and recommend Credit Hold accounts to Controller and/or CFO
Position Requirements:
• 4 year Bachelor degree in Business
• 3+ related business experience, Food or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively
• Good customer service skills
• Advanced Excel skills, using pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.
• Advanced Quickbooks knowledge
• Ability to analyze and comprehend financial data to report product, customer and company performance.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and Quickbooks
• Past experience in wholesale/retail accounting preferred
Compensation:
• Salary: DOE. Also: company-subsidized health benefits after 90 days, 401k, up to 2 weeks vacation and up to 5 days PTO days per year.
