When is the last time you had FUN at work? We are seeking a Sales Representative with enthusiasm and dedication to work with one of the leading natural pet food/treat companies!
Sales Representatives drive sales at the store level and look for opportunities to build affection for the DOGSWELL and CATSWELL brands by conducting demos, attending consumer events and visiting stores. This regional Sales Representative will report directly to the Director of Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent DOGSWELL and CATSWELL at regional consumer events
- Seek out regional key event partners including non-profits, rescues and innovative pet friendly events and businesses
- Perform demonstrations at local stores
- Drive sales through existing customers by expanding skus and increasing brand awareness
- Identify and close new accounts.
- Store visits to improve merchandising, shelf placement and gather feedback
- Report daily sales activity
Ideal candidate is/has:
- 1-2 years of sales experience
- Experience and interest in natural foods/products – A PLUS!
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Solid computer skills
- Very organized
- Professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
- Records maintenance skills
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment where goals are aggressive and quality is key
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Regional travel up to 10% required
- This job requires weekend work
- Candidate must have their own computer and internet access
Compensation:
28-30k DOE plus bonus
Full benefits, 10 days paid vacation, holiday pay and sick leave benefits

Bookkeeper
Summary:
The Bookkeeper is a full time, salaried, exempt position that reports directly to the Controller of the company. He or she is responsible for the full gamut of daily accounting tasks for the business. The Bookkeeper will not only perform basic accounting functions, but will also be involved in analytical reporting and assisting the Controller in various higher-level tasks.
Responsibilities:
A/R – Resolving account issues with customers, follow up on payment discrepancies, preparing and sending monthly statements and customer credit memos. Processing deposits and entering payments into Quickbooks.
A/P – Entering and verifying bills, printing and mailing checks. Follow up with vendor questions
Monthly Bank Reconciliations
Credit card reconciliation
Assist with month-end and year-end close, preparation of audit schedules, etc.
Requirements:
*3-5 years of full charge bookkeeping experience
*Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
*Able to multi-task because every day is new and different
*Detail oriented and focused on getting the job done
*Excellent written and verbal skills including telephone manner and people skills
* Strong professional and positive communication with customers is a must
*Ability to take initiative
*Advanced Quickbooks skills
*Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
*Past experience in wholesale/retail accounting preferred
Compensation:
Salary: Low-to-mid 40’s DOE. Company-subsidized health benefits after 90 days, up to 2 weeks vacation and up to 5 days sick days per year.
